Cineplex 2024 Holiday Campaign

This campaign celebrates the spirit and tradition of a holiday trip to the movies, intended to remind movie-goers that a trip to Cineplex is an escape into real holiday magic. 

Inspired by the tale of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (which takes place inside a single snowflake) and its Dr. Seuss style narration, this holiday campaign ponders what kind of story might unfold inside, say, a single kernel of buttery popcorn.

National Popcorn Day Campaign

(Won Gold at 2024 IHAF Awards)

In order to celebrate National Popcorn Day, this campaign depicts pop-ular movie characters and vignettes with a popcorn twist, making sure to highlight the real star of the show.

The assets ran in a national campaign in-theatres, on social, in OOH applications, and in print.

Cineplex Food & Beverage Campaign

There’s comfort in snacking in the dark. And it’s proven to be one of the biggest emotional drivers of the movie-going experience. When the lights go down, you’re free from social expectations and watchful eyes. You’re safe to shovel popcorn into your face without using your hands. Heck— you can eat that Twizzler horizontally if you really want to.

This campaign acts as a PSA, declaring Cineplex movie theatres as official safe snacking spaces and celebrating the weird concession combinations of movie goers everywhere.
